Meet The Team
John Gvodas
Founder & CEOJohn M. Gvodas, Jr. is a seasoned healthcare entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience building and leading healthcare and medical technology organizations. He founded Bechtel Medical with a vision to create a company grounded in engineering rigor, ethical leadership, and long term value creation.
John has extensive experience scaling healthcare businesses across the private and public sectors, including leading organizations through significant growth and operational expansion. His leadership approach emphasizes disciplined innovation, strong governance, and the development of medical technologies that physicians can rely on and that support improved patient outcomes.
In addition to his role at Bechtel Medical, John serves as a partner and board member to several healthcare focused ventures. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Finance from Ursinus College and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
